The 7th annual NatureTrack Film Festival (NTFF) will return Oct. 9-10, to the Santa Barbara Riviera Theatre and Camino Real Cinemas in Goleta, featuring the works of local and international filmmakers committed to educating the world about the beauty of nature.

This year's festivities kick off with an Opening Night Party on Thursday, Oct. 9, in Santa Barbara, that includes a reception, film premier and Q&A with filmmakers and experts, as well as sweet and savory stations and a silent disco.

Organizers have announced that the Inaugural Outdoor Icon Award will be presented to Bimarian Films (Keith Malloy, Andrew Schoneberger, Brett Williams), acclaimed for documentaries like Fishpeople and The Last Ride.

And the 2025 Honored Artist to be celebrated is plein-air painter John Iwerks.
