Tulane has won more road games (16) since the start of 2022 than any FBS team, losing only twice, so playing away from home should not be a factor. Quarterback Jake Retzlaff will step on the field with supreme confidence after rushing for four touchdowns against Duke and looking more comfortable in the pocket. But the Tulane defense, which has been really good for stretches and average at other times, needs to play at peak level for all four quarters. Even with backup quarterback Trinidad Chambliss at the helm, the Rebels figure to have too much firepower.
