Community members called on Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer to drop charges against the eight protestors arrested earlier this month at a rally at the closed Crozer-Chester Medical Center.

Put People First PA! held a rally outside the former Upland hospital on Sept. 8 as part of its National Day of Action for Medicaid and Against Hospital Closures. Eight were then arrested and charged with defiant trespass after allegedly refusing to leave after sitting in the hospital lobby. About six dozen others kept their action outside the facility and were not arrested.
