PITTSFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - A 61-year-old man from the Berkshires is in custody after agreeing to meet up with a police officer posing as an underage child.

State Police detectives carried out a child enticement sting. that’s where they caught 61-year-old Scott Clemons of Pittsfield, arriving to meet up with an underage child and took him into custody.

While searching his car, officials found a can of Doctor Pepper that was “requested”, as well as several box cutters.

No word yet on when he’s set to appear before a judge.
