OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Oconee County Coroner’s Office reports it is investigating after a 4-year-old boy died on Friday.

Emergency services was dispatched to a home on Forest Acres Circle near Walhalla around 6:20 a.m. for a cardiac arrest patient. The coroner’s office was asked to respond a short time later, officials said.

Details are limited at this time.

An autopsy is scheduled to be conducted on Monday.

Officials said the SLED Special Victims Unit is investigating the death along with with the Oconee County Sheriff’s and Coroner’s Office.
