CARTHAGE, Texas (KLTV) - A battle of unbeaten Bulldogs on Friday night as Carthage hosts Chapel Hill.

Chapel Hill got the ball to begin the game and in three plays they found the end zone. Quarterback Malik Gee connected with Maliek Brown for a 56-yard touchdown strike to give Chapel Hill an early 7-0 lead. Carthage answered right back. Quarterback Jett Surratt found his receiver Bryston Price for the 14-yard touchdown to tie the game at 7. Chapel Hill punted on their next possession, giving the ball back to Carthage. Surratt was picked off by Ke’rion Green and Green returned it for a touchdown to put Chapel Hill ahead 14-7 with 5:19 to go in the first quarter.
