GUILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- If you're looking for some fun this weekend, you may want to make your way to Guilford for the Guilford fair.

Established in 1859, the Guilford Fair is the second-oldest fair in the state of Connecticut.

"It's a tradition that people enjoy coming to,” said Public Relations Director Mairi Bryan.

"There's a lot of people here,” Jim Maiorana from Cheshire said. “There's food booths here, you won't go starving in this place. I mean, they put a good show on here."

Complimenting that food is fair rides, games and of course -- the animals.

"We've been coming since I was little, and now, Will likes to go and see the animals,” said a mother with her son.
