4Nogales, AZ – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced that agents have deported a 29-year-old Mexican national wanted for femicide in Puebla, Mexico, returning him to authorities at the Nogales border on Sept. 18.

Caleb Aragon Venegas was handed over to Mexican officials at the Dennis DeConcini Port of Entry after being transported from the Eloy Detention Center. He had been the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant in Mexico, ICE said.

Aragon Venegas entered the United States illegally at an unknown time and location. He was arrested by U.S. Customs and Border Protection near Lukeville on April 10, 2024. An immigration judge ordered his removal on Sept. 8, 2025.
