Testimony given by the fired director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to a Senate committee on Wednesday further exposed the dangerous unprofessionalism at the helm of President Trump’s Department of Health and Human Services.

Susan Monarez, a respected biological and clinical scientist and administrator, was apparently ordered to rubber-stamp child vaccine schedules without having the ability to examine the science behind those schedules. She was fired because she wouldn’t act unprofessionally.
