PARK CITY, Utah (ABC4) — The Milan Cortina Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games are next year, and athletes spoke to ABC4.com about how they're preparing for the Games.
Jasmine Jones, a bobsled athlete, said that the journey to the Milan Cortina games has been a blessing, but it's had its ups and downs, "I'm also a single parent at the same time, with my daughter Jade, so being away from her during the season is kind of hard. I'm thankful for my mom that can take her during the season."
Jones also joined the military to help her focus only on bobsled. "It just shows like, each time, each year, I've been getting stronger, physically, mentally, emotionally, and I feel like that's just goanna keep pushing me to ultimately do the main goal, which is to make the Olympics and earn a medal," she
