EVANSVILLE — Few moments during Derek Hart's coaching career could prepare him for this scenario.

A surprise weather system brought multiple lightning delays shortly after the second quarter. Jasper had to retreat into the locker room with the lead and wait. And wait. Over two hours went by before the Wildcats took the field again. Yet, the Jasper coach was never worried.

Hart knew what team stood on his sideline. One which has now cemented an upward trajectory this season.
