Janet Schaaff Goot Niskayuna - Janet Schaaff Goot, a resident of Niskayuna, died on September 14, 2025 at Schenectady Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Janet was born on March 10, 1939 in Niskayuna to Joseph and Catherine McDermott Schaaff. Janet graduated from Nott Terrace High School. She worked at Prudential Insurance Company for nearly 35 years, retiring in 1997.
