IRVINE – With a high-voltage offense so electric it literally fried wiring, Crean Lutheran jumped out to a 24-0 lead and cruised past visiting La Serna 38-14 on Friday at Crean Lutheran High School.

Saints quarterback Caden Jones completed 19 of 20 passes for 264 yards and two touchdowns, and senior Dillon Booth ran for two touchdowns and caught three passes for 102 yards.

Taiga Takada and Bryce Coleman caught touchdowns, and Luke Kyser caught three passes for 68 yards.

“We’ve had a tough time in the first quarter,” Crean Lutheran coach Rick Curtis said, “and we just came out tonight on fire and that’s what we’ve been looking for. So, I think that’s a good sign and we can do it, then also finish games.”
