LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — A motorcyclist has died following a crash involving an SUV Friday night.

The crash took place just after 9:25 p.m. near the intersection of Charleston and Casino Center Boulevards.

According to Metro, the motorcycle driver was taken to UMC where they were pronounced dead.

The area will be shut down as police investigate the crash.

Police said the driver of the SUV stayed on scene.
