Alabama Solar Park project manager: ‘Little unsure’ about incentives at this point

ALABAMA — The senior project manager for EDP Renewables North America admits that Genesee County’s pushback against future solar is casting a cloud of uncertainty over the 130-megawatt Alabama Solar Park venture.

“Yes, I’m familiar with the resolutions,” said Rachel Smith, referring to action taken by the Genesee County Legislature and the towns of Batavia, Oakfield, Pembroke and Alabama.
