A Bengaluru techie’s online post on what he terms the city’s “traffic tax” has gone viral, striking a chord with thousands of daily commuters who share the same frustration.

The post, published on Reddit, highlights how severe congestion is eroding both time and productivity.

The tech professional, who lives in JP Nagar and commutes to his office on Outer Ring Road, wrote that despite the 14-kilometre distance, his daily travel takes nearly 90 minutes each way.
