Tribhuvan Sahakar University will virtually host a seminar today on Monday on “Cooperative Development in India – Roadmap for Viksit Bharat,” focusing on evolving cooperatives to achieve the nation’s development goals by 2047.

The event will be inaugurated by the University’s Vice-Chancellor, Dr J M Vyas. Senior cooperator Satish Marathe will address the role of Primary Agricultural Cooperatives (PACs), while other experts will discuss dairy and fisheries cooperatives, as well as governance challenges.

Eminent speakers include Prof Saswata Biswas, Dr KK Tripathy, Jayen Mehta, Prof Tushar Shah, Shailendra Singh, and Dr Amit Vyas. The seminar aims to provide strategic insights and policy directions to strengthen India’s cooperative sector for a “Viksit Bharat.”
