A Missouri Powerball player has claimed half of the record-breaking $1.7 billion jackpot from the September 6th drawing. The other half goes to a winner in Texas.

The Missouri winner has chosen a pre-tax lump sum of about $410.3 million, the largest prize ever won by a Lottery player in the Show Me State.

The winning ticket, purchased at a QuikTrip in St. Louis, matched all six numbers.

According to a Missouri Lottery press release, the anonymous winner says he plans to take time off to relax and spend more time with his wife, who also plans to reduce her workload.
