Dhargal, Goa: The first Joint Integrative Oncology Clinic in India was successfully conducted at the newly inaugurated Integrative Oncology Research and Care Centre at the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), Dhargal, Goa.

In this landmark initiative, four complex cancer cases were presented before a multi-disciplinary panel of eminent oncologists from modern medicine and AYUSH systems. Patients and their families were present during the clinic, where their queries were addressed in detail by the panel of experts.

Each case was deliberated upon from different clinical perspectives, and after comprehensive discussion and consensus, the panel advised appropriate therapeutic and adjuvant treatment plans. This ensured that patients benefitted from an evidence-based integrative appro
