One person was killed and two people are in critical condition after a shooting at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) field office in Dallas on Wednesday morning, according to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Acting ICE director Todd Lyons identified the shooter as 29-year-old Joshua Jahn . He died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, authorities said.
All three of the victims shot were detainees of the facility, federal authorities said. On Saturday the detainee who was killed was identified by the Dallas County Medical Examiner as 37-year-old Norlan Guzman-Fuentes. In a statement provided to CBS News Saturday, ICE said Guzman-Fuentes was from El Salvador.
The two wounded detainees were identified by ICE as Miguel Angel Garcia-Hernandez of Mexico and Jose Andre
