A new study has found a way to slow the progression of Huntington's disease in a breakthrough moment towards accessible treatment for the incurable condition. Experts from University College London (UCL) said the finding could "change everything" for patients with the hereditary progressive disease.
Scientists have found a treatment that slowed the advancement of Huntington's by 75 per cent after 36 months. One high dose of the new medication is expected to last a lifetime, giving new hope to those who have been diagnosed.
