NORRISTOWN — A Norristown woman is on her way to prison for multiple straw purchases and illegally transferring one of the handguns she purchased to a borough man who allegedly used the gun to fatally shoot a friend.

Lakisha Ann Ebo, 47, who listed an address in the 500 block of Church Street, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to 7 to 14 years in the State Correctional Institution at Muncy in connection with incidents that occurred in 2023 and 2024.

Specifically, Ebo pleaded guilty to four counts of making false statements on federal gun purchase forms and two counts of unlawful transfer of a firearm.
