DARROW, La. (WAFB) - A 17-year-old and his brother are facing charges in connection with a deadly shooting in Ascension Parish.

The shooting happened on Thursday, August 28, at a home on Brown Extension Road in Darrow.

Deputies reported finding the victim, identified as Ty’Jon Comery, 18, shot at the scene.

According to the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested Peyton Jackson, 17, on Sept. 4, for second-degree murder, obstruction of justice, and illegal use of weapons.

Jackson’s brother, Charles Ray Jackson Jr., 31, was later arrested on Sept. 23, on the charge of accessories after the fact to second-degree murder.
