STATESBORO, Ga. —

The love of college football proved to be the perfect backdrop for one couple to profess their love for one another.

"We got engaged in May and we started think about when a wedding would work," said Dal Cannady.

Cannady and fiancé Tina Ralston decided to tie the knot on a Saturday, just before their beloved Georgia Southern Eagles took the field against the University of Maine.

"We jokingly said, let's just have during the tailgate," said Cannady. " We laughed until we quit laughing and we thought maybe we got an idea here."

So there in the tailgate lot, in front of family, friends and other fans of the feather - Tina and Dal exchanged vows.
