Colorado State announced Wednesday that the annual Border War football game between the Rams and Wyoming will continue next season after CSU leaves the Mountain West Conference for the Pac-12.
The game is scheduled to be played Sept. 5 as the season opener for both teams at Canvas Stadium.
“Rivalry games are important to us at Colorado State and are a part of what makes college football so special,” CSU athletics director John Weber said in a news release. “Having one of the oldest rivalries in the West that features one of the most iconic trophies in college football continue consecutively is outstanding. This game is important to our universities, communities, and fans and I am thrilled that we were able to continue it in 2026.”
The series that dates back to 1899 was in jeopardy after
