Jimmy Kimmel was back on the airwaves Tuesday, Sept. 23, for the first time in nearly a week after his late-night show on ABC was suspended over comments he made about the killing of Charlie Kirk.
ABC's parent company, Disney, announced earlier in the week that Kimmel's show would be returning. However, Sinclair Broadcast Group and Nexstar Media Group , owners of roughly 70 TV stations affiliated with ABC across the country, stated that they would still not air Kimmel's show on their ABC affiliates.
