INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Colts likely will be without two key players as they attempt to remain unbeaten Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams.

Wide receiver Alec Pierce is in the NFL’s concussion protocol, while cornerback Kenny Moore II is dealing with an Achilles injury. Neither will practice on Wednesday.

That normally is significant with someone like Pierce, who must go through the league’s concussion protocol process. This is his third concussion in the past four seasons – the second in 10 months – and Pierce has missed one game following each of the previous concussions.

Cornerback Charvarius Ward suffered a concussion in the opener against Miami, didn’t practice the following week and missed the week 2 game against Denver.
