CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Browns found a possible replacement for left tackle Dawand Jones right in their own backyard.

They signed former Massillon Washington High and Ohio Stateproduct Thayer Munford Jr. off the Patriots practice squad to help replace Jones, who was placed on IR.

Jones, also a former Buckeye, will undergo season-ending knee surgery to repair the injury suffered on the fourth play of Sunday’s 13-10 victory over the Packers.
