One person was killed and two others were wounded in a shooting at an ICE field office in Dallas after a gunman opened fire from an adjacent building on the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 24, law enforcement officials said.

The suspected shooter died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, authorities said at a news conference about four hours after the shooting.

The city's police chief, Daniel Comeaux, said that at about 6:40 a.m. local time, police received an assist the officer call. When they arrived at the scene, four people were shot and two of them were deceased,
