Shillong, Sept 24: Deputy Chief Minister in-charge PWD (Roads) Prestone Tynsong reviewed the progress of several major road projects, including the Greenfield High-Speed Corridor, Tura bypass, Western Bypass, and the Shillong-Dawki road, all aimed at enhancing road connectivity across Meghalaya.

Speaking to media persons after the review meeting today, Tynsong said the Greenfield High-Speed Corridor project, which spans 166.80 kilometres from Mawlyngkhung, Umiam to Panchagram on the Assam border, is progressing well. He informed that survey work in Ri Bhoi and West Jaintia Hills districts is nearly complete and the notification process is in progress.
