YSU Men's basketball coach Ethan Faulkner has 11 new players from last year's team that lost to Robert Morris in the Horizon League Championship game.

Only three players, seniors Chris Carroll, Jason Nelson and Imanuel Zorgvol return. Carroll is the top returning scorer averaging 9 points and Carroll scored in double figures 16 times. Zorgvol missed last year with an injury.

"I feel really good about the players we have," said Faulkner. " You know their character and DNA of who they area as people and I've been really optimistic about there willingness to work."

The Penguins were 21-13 last season and have three straight 20 wins seasons.
