Green Bay Packers starting right tackle Zach Tom is not expected to play on Sunday night against the host Dallas Cowboys to allow for time to heal from a recurring abdominal injury.

Tom attempted to return from an oblique injury last week but exited the loss at Cleveland almost immediately.

Tom was on the field for just one offensive snap Sunday causing the line to reshuffle during the 13-10 loss to the Browns. The 26-year-old sustained the initial injury in Green Bay’s 27-13 victory over the Detroit Lions in the season opener on Sept. 7 before sitting out the team’s next game versus the Washington Commanders.
