It's now been nearly 24 hours since the Augusta Mall shooting , and the scene has largely turned quiet as business slowly returns to normal.

The doors are open on all sides and nearly all of the stores are open with the exception of Hot Topic. There is no police tape up, but there were multiple vehicles from law enforcement parked outside. We saw two for Richmond County Sheriff's Office , one for a K-9 unit, and another for Mall Security. There was also a Central EMS vehicle, but it's unclear whether or not they were part of the response team.

There were a small number of shoppers, however a notable amount of people were waiting to go into the Apple Store. This is possibly due to the new iPhones and AirPods that were recently released.
