LAMAR COUNTY, Miss. (WHLT) - Two Oak Grove Middle School students were struck by a vehicle, according to Lamar County School District officials.

They said the incident occurred as the students were crossing the intersection of Old Highway 11 and Old Highway 24 on September 24, 2025.

According to initial reports, officials said the students were alert and responsive following the incident. They were both transported by an ambulance to Forrest General Hospital for a medical evaluation.
