Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) and P.V. Narsimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University (PVNRTVU), Hyderabad, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaborative research in animal health and veterinary sciences. The agreement, aimed at combining the strengths of Ayurveda with modern veterinary science, is expected to generate innovative solutions for livestock welfare, productivity, and sustainable animal healthcare.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Goli Penchala Prasad, Assistant Director In-charge of CCRAS–National Institute of Indian Medical Heritage (NIIMH), and Prof. A. Saratchandra Amaravati, Registrar of PVNRTVU.
Under this collaboration, both institutions will undertake joint research projects in areas such as translational research, li
