Vice President CP Radhakrishnan commenced his maiden state visit to Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday with prayers at the iconic Kanak Durga Temple, marking an auspicious start during the Navratri festivities.

The Vice President was accorded a warm welcome at Vijayawada airport by Governor S. Abdul Nazeer and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, followed by a ceremonial Guard of Honour.

Later in the day, Radhakrishnan graced Vijayawada Utsav 2025 at Punnamy Ghat as the Chief Guest. The festival, celebrated across five locations in the city, is a grand showcase of Andhra Pradesh’s cultural richness, spiritual heritage, and developmental achievements.
