Troopers say that there are injuries reported.
Sumter County Fire Rescue and Hernando County Fire Rescue are on scene near mile marker 305. I-75 southbound has been moving slowly with cars passing only on the shoulder for several hours.
The northbound lanes were partially impacted for a while until crews cleared them. People are being asked to find alternative routes for the time being.
