ITV has teased a 'very special' start to 2026 in Weathefield, as a 'first' for Coronation Street comes to an emotional end.

The first ever 'An Audience with Coronation Street' theatre tour draws to a close on Wednesday night (September 24) in Glasgow after multiple standing ovations, joyous laughter, never before heard tales and more than a few tears of nostalgia at every show.

Fans of the beloved ITV soap have packed out venues in London, Sheffield and Sunderland, as well as there being a triumphant return to its home turf of Salford.

Those in the audience got to hear memories from members of the show's cast, experience a few surprises and pay homage to the man who made it all happen in the very beginning, Tony Warren, as This Morning's 'Queen of Soaps', Sharon Marsh
