PERRYVILLE, Ark. – Time to get your goat as the Arkansas Goat Festival is set for Perryville on the first weekend of October.
Festival officials said the annual event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 4 in Perryville. Among the goat-centric festivities planned are the goat costume contest, goat parade and, of course, the goat lingerie show.
Promoters said 140 retail vendors will be on hand, as will 24 food vendors. Live music will play throughout the day, they said.
The event is free and family-friendly, and event officials promise it will be fun. They ask that the no-dogs rule be followed.
