CHARLOTTE — The Panthers had a deep wide receiver group in training camp, and it's a good thing.

The Panthers were without three listed starters in practice on Wednesday, as they prepare for their Week 4 trip to New England.

Tetairoa McMillan (calf) and Xavier Legette (hamstring) were on the sidelines in their gray walk-through shirts during the portion of practice open to the media, and didn't participate.

Also, veteran slot receiver Hunter Renfrow (not-injury-related/personal) wasn't on the field. Canales said Renfrow and his wife welcomed a baby to the world.

Panthers head coach Dave Canales said McMillan and Legette were "day-to-day" and they'd monitor them throughout the week.
