Budgam, Sept 24: Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rahim Rather on Wednesday today inaugurated a mega awareness camp cum seminar for artisans, weavers and trainees at Nagam Chadoora here. It was organised by the Handicrafts & Handloom Department.

The camp witnessed active participation of artisans, weavers, and trainees, besides officers and officials from various line departments.

In his inaugural address, the Speaker applauded the role of artisans in preserving Kashmir’s rich cultural heritage. He called upon them to adopt innovation and market-driven approaches while pursuing their craft with sincerity and dedication.
