JAMMU: Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Kumar Choudhary on Wednesday inaugurated the World Pharmacist Day celebrations at Madr-e-Meharban Campus of Health Sciences of Prabha Harjilal College of Pharmacy Jammu.

While addressing the gathering, the Deputy CM lauded the role of the pharmacists in the healthcare delivery for the ailing patients and reminded the students of the college about the expectations of patients from them as members of healing team.

The Deputy CM also paid tributes to the services rendered by pharmacists along with doctors on the warfront against covid pandemic when everyone else was hiding in the safety of their homes.
