Richland Parish Sheriff’s Office make arrest in drug investigation

DELHI, La. (KNOE) - Richland Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Mohamed Abobaker on several drug charges on September 24.

This arrest comes after an investigation into the selling of Kratom from the Delhi Express convenience store at 317 Main St., Delhi, La.

A large amount of Kratom was seized in a search warrant at the store. Abobaker has been charged with:

3 counts of Distribution of Schedule 1 drug

3 counts of Violation of the Uniform CDS Law ( Drug-free zone)

1 count of Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule 1 drug

Abobaker has been booked into the Richland Parish Detention Center on a $55,000 bond.
