Nick Stewart, a Democratic candidate for Baltimore County executive, is focusing on addressing the county’s affordability crisis and improving public education and economic development as he campaigns for the position.

Stewart spoke on the C4 and Bryan Nehman Show Tuesday. The candidate spoke about his love for the county and his agenda.

“We are at a really significant inflection point. We’re at a crossroads as a county. So this crisis we’re facing is an affordability crisis, ultimately,” Stewart said. “I think that we need somebody with a plan who can turn a moment of crisis into a movement for change.”

Stewart served as vice chair of the school board and on the Workforce Development Board and emphasized the need for a plan that operates with urgency and radical transparency.
