Mega Mart, a Korean chain grocery store, is now open in East Palo Alto, with a ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremony held this morning.

The 50,000-square-foot store, which replaces a Target at that location that closed last year, includes groceries, a large Korean beauty section and more. Instagrammer Tony Nguyen, who goes by the handle @yourglobalfoodiebff, shared a sneak peek of the store, highlighting the house-made kimchi, a deli offering ready-to-eat items like kimbap, and the Pogu Picnic takeout counter offering fast-casual meal boxes called “dosirak” from Michelin-starred chef Tony Yoo. There’s also Basquia, the brand’s gluten-free rice flour bakery.
