(FOX40.COM) — The Folsom Police Department partnered up with multiple regional, state and federal agencies to conduct a large-scale operation targeting fentanyl and other illicit drugs. • Video above: How deadly is fentanyl?

According to FPD, the operation focused on disrupting online sales of fentanyl, conducting search warrants, interdiction operations and high-impact patrols in areas known for drug activity.

Folsom police said over 100 people were arrested for being connected to drug trafficking, illegal firearms possession and other serious felony offenses.
