The trial of a man accused of killing his roommate in Miramar entered its second day on Wednesday.

Marvin Jean-Pierre, 26, was charged with first-degree murder and grand theft auto in the 2020 killing of 52-year-old Jose Mondelus

During day two of Jean-Pierre's trial, jurors were shown interrogation video and statements Jean-Pierre made to police after he was arrested.

"Did he make a pass at you or something like that? Or did something happen to make you feel uncomfortable?" an officer said in the video.

In the video, Jean-Pierre was seen nodding his head in agreement.

Jurors will have to decide if they agree with Jean-Pierre's claims that he attacked Mondelus in self-defense due to unwanted sexual advances or if he is guilty of first-degree murder.
