DENVER (KDVR) -- Several charges have been filed against a man who is accused of trying to kidnap a juvenile employee at an Arby's in Broomfield.

Charges were officially filed against 29-year-old Jonathan Barker, the 17th Judicial District Attorney's Office announced Wednesday.

On Sept. 13 at the restaurant, located at 8950 Metro Airport Avenue, Barker allegedly tried to take a 17-year-old female employee from the lobby of the restaurant.

The DA's office said her fellow employees intervened and stopped her abduction before Broomfield police officers arrived.

The following charges were filed against Barker: • Second-degree kidnapping (F4) • Second-degree assault (M1) • Unlawful possession of a controlled substance (DM1)
