A Virginia school dismissed concerns from its female students about a male peer with facial hair being allowed in their locker room — even after accusations that the boy would just stand there and watch them, according to a civil rights complaint.

Fairfax County Public Schools is facing a possible Title IX violation after freshman girls’ pleas for help instead led to them being rushed to change for gym class to accommodate the male student, according to documents.

The issue exploded on Sept. 2, when a 14-year-old girl saw a male sophomore with facial hair inside her locker room ahead of PE class at West Springfield High School, the complaint alleges.
