WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - A Pennsylvania newspaper is reporting Wisconsin Badgers standout and former Green Bay Packer Bill Ferrario has died.
The Times Tribune reports the 47-year-old Schofield man died Wednesday. Ferrario was born in Scranton, Penn.
Sports Illustrated is reporting Ferrario died unexpectedly at his home.
Ferrario was selected in the fourth round of the 2001 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Packers, Washington, and Panthers before retiring in 2005.
No details about his death have been publicly released.
